I've had 2 strokes and epilepsy. I am only 39 years old. I am on disability at the moment, and have to wait 2 years to be seen and get Medicare. I desperately need medical care now. I have no money to go get an MRI or any female checkups that I need. And I think I could be going through menopause with alot of pain. Medicaid won't approve me in Florida because my child support is still in Texas because it goes direct deposit into an account there and I OWE THE BANK MONEY! So I cannot transfer child support order over to Florida yet. (we moved here a month ago after being homeless for 9 months after my last stroke. So the state of Florida will not give me adult Medicaid. Mr. President, there is something terribly wrong with this situation. I WANT to try to go back to work. I have raised a child that doctors told me over and over again that he was very close to mentally retardation, and wouldn't be like the rest of the kids his age. But I am still trying. I want to get medically checked out so I can try the 9 month go back to work ticket program for those of us who are on disability, and see if I can do it. But I need to get checked out from head to toe first. Please help me, nobody else will and I have been desperate for some kind of answers. Thank you in advance for the efforts you all are making to reform our healthcare system.
